About Us

At Neuro-Behavioral Clinical Research we provide access to most promising new medical and psychiatric treatment options. We are committed to pioneering new therapies to treat medical and psychiatric illnesses. Moreover, we are just as passionate about creating a supportive, caring environment for our patients and their families. We conduct leading-edge research in key areas, giving rise to new hope for tomorrow.

Patient volunteers are engaged from the greater Akron and Canton, Ohio metropolitan area. The combined population of surrounding Stark, Summit, Mahoning, Portage, and Harrison counties exceeds 1.4 million people.

Neuro-Behavioral Clinical Research strives for excellence by providing our patients the highest quality care available. Our studies are conducted with strict adherence to FDA and GCP guidelines to provide accurate data to our sponsors, while ensuring compassionate, ethical treatment of our patients.

As a participant in a clinical trial, you’ll receive excellent medical information, as well as the chance to help improve treatment for future generations. Trial participants help advance American Medicine. Without clinical trials, no new treatment could be discovered and evaluated, no proper safety testing would be possible, nor could you be assured of the effectiveness of current and future medical treatments.

If you are interested in participating in a trial, our specially qualified physicians and psychologists are ready to evaluate and determine whether clinical trials currently being conducted meet your needs. Participation in a trial is absolutely free of charge. Click on the Our Studies button above to view a list our current studies and to take a self-assessment questionnaire.

When you submit the completed questionnaire, we’ll review your responses and our research staff will conduct a phone interview to discuss your medical history, current symptoms and medications. If they determine you might be a match, our physicians and medical personnel will perform a physical examination to determine if you are qualified to join.

Dr. Shishuka Malhotra, Medical Director of Neuro-Behavioral Clinical Research, has participated in over 200 clinical trials. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at national and international scientific meetings and conferences.

When you participate in a clinical research study at Neuro-Behavioral Clinical Research, we’re committed to working with you to help improve your life.
